International Information Security Day
In 1988, the American Association for Computing Machinery declared November 30 as International Information Security Day. The purpose of this day, also known as Computer Security Day, is to remind users of the necessity to protect their computers and all the information stored within them.
1988 marked the first major outbreak of a network virus, named after its creator—Morris. It was at this time that specialists began to consider the need for a comprehensive approach to ensuring information security, although the prototype of the first computer malware appeared as early as 1983.
Memorial Day for All Victims of Chemical Weapons
In December 2015, during its 20th session, the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling, and Use of Chemical Weapons and on Their Destruction decided that Memorial Day for all victims of chemical weapons would be observed annually on November 30, or on the first day of the commencement of its next session.
World Animal Day
The idea of holding this significant celebration was first proposed in 1931 at the International Congress of the Protection of Nature Movement in Florence, Italy. At that time, various ecological organizations and conservation societies expressed their readiness to organize diverse mass events aimed at fostering a sense of responsibility for all living beings on the planet, including domestic animals.

Church holiday:
On this day, the memory of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called is celebrated—one of the twelve closest disciples of Jesus Christ and the brother of the Apostle Peter. The brothers were born in Bethsaida, a town on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, and were fishermen. Andrew was the first whom Jesus called to be his disciple. According to the Gospel of John, the first apostle was previously a disciple of John the Baptist.
