The aftermath of the enemy drone strike in Sumy is ongoing: as of 6:00 AM Thursday, 9 injuries have been reported, according to the State Emergency Service.
"On January 30, the enemy targeted one of the ten-story residential buildings in Sumy. As a result of the attack, 9 apartments and 12 balconies have been preliminarily destroyed. Emergency responders managed to rescue 4 individuals, including 1 child, and evacuated 118 people," the State Emergency Service reported.
According to preliminary information, 9 people were injured, including one child. At the scene, rescuers set up a mobile invincibility point. Psychologists and medical personnel from the State Emergency Service are on-site. Two canine units have been deployed. Special equipment has been brought in for high-altitude operations. Emergency rescue and search efforts are ongoing.
