Trump has rescinded 78 executive orders from the Biden era, many of which Joe Biden signed on the first day of his administration, according to CNN.
"The revoked orders include: an executive order requiring federal agencies to extend the ban on discrimination based on sex to sexual orientation and gender identity; an order mandating executive branch officials to sign a commitment to uphold ethics; an order allowing transgender individuals to serve in the U.S. military; and an order prohibiting the renewal of contracts with private prisons," CNN lists.
Other Biden-era orders that Trump rescinded on Monday included the reversal of Cuba's designation as a state sponsor of terrorism, the imposition of sanctions on Jewish settlers in the West Bank, and a 2023 executive order on artificial intelligence aimed at controlling and regulating AI risks.
