In Kyiv and two regions of Ukraine, emergency power outages were implemented on Monday morning due to attacks by the Russian Federation on energy facilities, reported DTEK.
Thus, emergency power outages have been enforced in Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Dnipropetrovsk region.
As noted, following the command from Ukrenergo, emergency outages are being applied in the city of Kyiv, as well as in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
"We will promptly inform you of any changes through our Telegram channel," the message states.
Later, NEC "Ukrenergo" reported that the reason for the heightened restrictions is the aftermath of Russian attacks on energy facilities.
Initially, the company highlighted that industrial consumers and businesses are the first to be disconnected.
Meanwhile, restrictions for residential consumers are applied only in specific cases (except for emergency situations in the regional energy networks).
NEC emphasized that the situation in the energy system may change and urged everyone to monitor updates on the pages of the distribution system operators (oblenergo).
