The Ukrainian military has repelled 46 attacks from Russian occupiers in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove areas, as well as 30 battles in the Vremivka direction, reports the General Staff.
"Since the beginning of the day, there have been 190 combat engagements recorded. Russian invaders carried out 31 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory, dropped 61 guided aerial bombs, and deployed 568 kamikaze drones. Additionally, the enemy conducted 3,194 shelling incidents targeting our troops and civilian settlements," the report states.
In the Kharkiv direction today, the enemy attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian units near Volchansk, Glubokoe, and Staritsa five times, all of which were repelled by the Defense Forces.
"According to preliminary estimates, enemy losses today in the direction amounted to 92 servicemen killed and wounded; Ukrainian warriors destroyed one artillery system, one vehicle, and 20 enemy drones; they also damaged three vehicles," the summary indicates.
The enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian forces in the Kupiansk direction seven times in the areas of Synkovka, Zahryzovo, and Zapadne. Fighting continues near Dvurechna.
In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attempted to advance 21 times in the areas of Kopanok, Novoehorivka, Lozova, Nadezhda, Makeevka, Ternov, and in the Serebryansky forest. Ukrainian defenders are steadfast in their defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy, with three combat engagements ongoing in the Ternov area.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attempts by the occupiers to advance in the area of Chasiv Yar and towards Stupochki and Belya Gora.
In the Toretsk direction, the aggressor attacked four times near Toretsk. Currently, two combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the intensity of combat remains high. The number of combat engagements has increased to 46. The occupiers continue their pressure on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Myrolyubivka, Luch, Lisovka, Dachenske, Novyi Trud, Peschanoye, Shevchenko, and Chumatske. Ukrainian defenders have repelled 43 attacks, with three combat engagements still ongoing.
"According to preliminary estimates, the aggressor's losses amounted to 288 occupiers killed and wounded. Four vehicles and two motorcycles of the occupiers were also destroyed, and two more vehicles and two motorcycles were damaged," the summary states.
In the Kurakhove direction, there are currently 46 combat engagements of varying intensity. The occupiers actively attempted to advance in the areas of Sontsivka, Staryi Ternov, Kurakhove, Dalniy, and Uspenivka. Fighting continues, with five engagements ongoing.
In the Vremivka direction today, the aggressor, supported by aviation, stormed the frontline of Ukrainian defenses 30 times in the areas of Sukhi Yalov, Konstantinopol, Razdolne, Neskuchne, and Novodarivka. One battle is still ongoing.
The occupier made one unsuccessful attempt to attack the positions of Ukrainian units in the direction of Novodanilivka in the Orekhiv direction. Enemy aviation dropped bombs on Stepnogorsk.
In the Dnipro direction, two attempts by the enemy to storm the positions of Ukrainian forces were unsuccessful.
In the Kherson region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 enemy assaults, with two combat engagements ongoing.
