The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has regulated the mandatory space requirements for pharmacy establishments.
As reported by Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the Cabinet in the Verkhovna Rada, on his Telegram channel, the relevant decision was made during a government meeting on Friday.
According to the decision, the total minimum area for pharmacies located in towns must be at least 30 square meters, with a retail space of no less than 11 square meters.
The total minimum area for pharmacies situated in villages should be no less than 18 square meters, including a retail area of at least 6 square meters, as well as a zone for storing medicinal products and a utility service area. Additionally, the area of a pharmacy point in a village cannot be less than 10 square meters.
