Four civilians lost their lives in Sumy due to a Russian drone strike on a high-rise building, reports the Sumy Regional Military Administration as of 8:00 AM on Thursday.
According to the Regional Military Administration, four individuals have died, and nine have sustained injuries of varying severity, including one child. Five victims have been hospitalized, among them a child, with three in serious condition. Five apartments across four floors have been destroyed, along with 12 balconies. Over 80 windows and balconies have been damaged. More than 20 vehicles have also been affected.
The debris removal is ongoing. The extent of the destruction is being assessed.
A mobile invincibility point of the State Emergency Service has been established at the site (assistance has been provided to 85 people).
Additionally, a local government invincibility point is operational in the area where the incident occurred.
