The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, believes that following the meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States, Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump, Ukraine should be provided with security guarantees, reports Sky News on Saturday evening.
"Emmanuel Macron stated that he made several calls today after the explosive meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky. In an interview, he mentioned that he spoke with the leader of Ukraine, Trump, Keir Starmer, NATO chief Mark Rutte, and European Council head Antonio Costa," reports Sky News.
"I think that, aside from frayed nerves, everyone needs to calm down, show respect and gratitude so that we can move forward concretely, because what is at stake is too important," quotes Macron, according to Sky News.
