Russian forces shelled Nikopol and three communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, while Ukrainian air defense systems intercepted seven enemy drones, reported the head of the Regional Military Administration, Sergey Lysak.
"In the evening and at night, air defense was active in Dnipropetrovsk region. The defenders of the sky destroyed 7 UAVs," he wrote on Telegram.
According to him, in the Samara district, a civilian structure caught fire as a result of the enemy attack, but the fire has since been extinguished. Additionally, three private homes and a car were damaged. Lysak noted that medical assistance was required for three individuals—a 10-year-old boy and women aged 30 and 88. Medical professionals provided care on-site.
The aggressor continued to attack the Nikopol area, using the Grad multiple rocket launcher, heavy artillery, and kamikaze drones. Nikopol, Myrova, Marhanets, and Pokrov communities were under fire. As a result of the shelling, a 40-year-old man was injured and is receiving outpatient treatment.
A fire also broke out, which firefighters managed to extinguish. Damaged infrastructure includes an industrial enterprise, a private house, a truck, and power lines.
