The fire in Kyiv's "Comfort Town" was not caused by a drone crash, according to the military administration.

The Kyiv City Military Administration has refuted its earlier statement that a fire in an apartment in the Dnipro district of Kyiv was caused by debris from a downed enemy drone.

The Kyiv City Military Administration has denied its own report claiming that a fire in an apartment in the Dniprovskiy district of Kyiv was caused by debris from a downed enemy drone.

"After a thorough investigation and clarification of the facts, the fall of debris as a result of a drone attack in the Dniprovskiy district is not confirmed. The fire in the residential building was caused by a household appliance. The data from operational reports is constantly being updated and clarified," - reported the head of the capital's military administration, Serhiy Popko.

Photographs from the scene show that the fire occurred in the residential complex "Comfort Town," located on Reheneratorna Street in the Dniprovskiy district. As a result of the fire, one apartment was completely burned, and the facade of the building and the windows of the apartment above were also damaged.

Earlier, the KVMU reported the fall of debris from a downed drone of the Russian Armed Forces in the Dniprovskiy district of Kyiv on Wednesday morning, which led to a fire in an apartment.
