Donald Trump has suspended the ban on the use of the TikTok platform in the United States for 75 days, as stated in the corresponding order published on the White House website.
"I direct the Attorney General not to take any action to enforce this law for 75 days, starting today, to allow my administration to determine the appropriate course that will protect national security and avoid the sudden shutdown of a communication platform used by millions of Americans," the text of the order states.
Trump's order prohibits the Department of Justice from taking any actions or imposing "any sanctions on any organization for any violation of the Law, including for the distribution, support, or updating (or creating conditions for the distribution, support, or updating).
