Russian forces are engaged in active combat in the Pokrovsk direction, despite suffering personnel losses of nearly 300 occupiers, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"According to the current information, the enemy has lost 276 personnel in this direction today, of which 149 are irretrievable. Fourteen units of automotive equipment, two ATVs, one anti-tank missile system, and one mortar of the occupiers have been destroyed. Additionally, a mortar and a vehicle have been damaged," the statement reads.
It has been reported that on Wednesday, the enemy carried out 55 assault and offensive actions in this area. The greatest activity of Russian occupiers remains in the regions of the settlements of Zelenoe Pole, Vozdvizhenka, Mirolubovka, Luch, Lisovka, Dachenskoe, Pokrovsk, Novy Trud, Zelenoe, and Novotroitskoye. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled forty-seven attacks in this direction, and eight more clashes are ongoing. At the same time, the enemy has launched air strikes with UAVs on the settlements of Pokrovsk and Kotlino.
Ukrainian military forces are making efforts to prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory.
