In the early hours of Wednesday, Russia launched a massive strike on Odessa, resulting in widespread power outages, as well as a lack of water and heating in most homes, reported Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.
“As a result of the intense enemy attack on a densely populated area of the city, electricity, water, and heating supplies are absent in a large number of homes. Hospitals, clinics, and social infrastructure facilities are left without heat,” he wrote in a telegram.
According to Trukhanov, an operational headquarters is being set up in the city.
Currently, the consequences of the Russian attack are being assessed.
