On Sunday, Russian forces shelled 13 communities in the Sumy region, resulting in damage, according to the regional military administration.
“Throughout the day, the Russians conducted 93 shelling attacks on the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region. A total of 210 explosions were recorded. The Sumy, Mykolaiv, Khotyn, Yunakiv, Myropil, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Putyvl, Novoslobodka, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyno-Buda, and Znob-Novhorod communities were subjected to shelling,” the report states.
Velykopysarivka community: the enemy fired from mortars (21 explosions), artillery (13 explosions), FPV drones (7 explosions), from SPG (9 explosions), launched NAR from a helicopter (10 explosions), and dropped VOG from UAVs (3 explosions).
Bilopillia: there was a drop of VOG from UAVs (4 explosions) and mortar shelling (3 explosions).
Esman community: an attack was carried out with FPV drones (5 explosions), mortar shelling (6 explosions), and a drop of VOG from UAVs (4 explosions).
Krasnopillia community: 28 mines were dropped by the Russians on the territory of the community. Additionally, there was a drop of VOG from UAVs (5 explosions) and an attack with FPV drones (9 explosions).
Seredyno-Buda community: a drop of VOG from UAVs was recorded (4 explosions), mortar shelling (6 explosions), and strikes from FPV drones (4 explosions). As a result of the strikes, 2 private houses were damaged.
Znob-Novhorod community: a drop of VOG from UAVs occurred (1 explosion).
Novoslobodka community: the enemy hit from mortars (19 explosions) and FPV drones (6 explosions).
Khotyn community: the Russians struck with artillery (5 explosions).
Sumy: a rocket strike was carried out (1 explosion) and an attack by UAV (1 explosion). As a result, a non-residential building was damaged. Additionally, a UAV was detected and destroyed (2 explosions).
Myropil community: the enemy fired from mortars (10 explosions) and from MLRS (20 explosions). As a result of the shelling, two private houses and an outbuilding were damaged.
Mykolaiv community: a UAV was detected and destroyed (1 explosion).
Yunakiv community: a UAV was detected and destroyed (1 explosion). Furthermore, 18 mines were dropped by the Russians on the territory of the community.
Shalyhyne community: an attack by an FPV drone was recorded (1 explosion).
Putyvl community: an attack by an FPV drone was carried out (1 explosion).
