The Head of the President's Office in Paris discussed measures for security guarantees for Ukraine, according to the Office of the President.

In particular, Andrey Yermak met with France's Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot, diplomatic advisor to the President of France Emmanuel Bonne, the President's military chief Fabien Mandon, and advisors to the President of France Xavier Chatel and Bertrand Bouchwalter.

"The parties coordinated the necessary steps to develop effective security guarantees for Ukraine. Specifically, they discussed the initiatives proposed by France," the Office of the President's statement said.

As previously reported, on January 15, Emmanuel Macron and Keir Starmer discussed the deployment of British and French troops to Ukraine as a peacekeeping force following any potential ceasefire agreement.
