Шольц о словах Трампа: Неправильно и опасно называть Зеленского диктатором.

The Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, sharply rejected the statement made by U.S. President Donald Trump, who labeled Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a "dictator without elections," describing it as "incorrect and dangerous," reports Der Spiegel.

According to Scholz, denying President Zelensky his democratic legitimacy is "simply wrong and dangerous."

"Zelensky is the elected head of state of Ukraine. Regular elections cannot be held during wartime, according to the Ukrainian Constitution and electoral legislation. No one should claim otherwise," Scholz stated.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock also strongly opposed President Trump's assessment.

"It's absolute nonsense," she said in an interview with ZDF on Wednesday. "If you are not just quickly tweeting but actually see the real world, you know who, unfortunately, has to live under dictatorship in Europe: the people in Russia, the people in Belarus."
