Sibiga: Nothing can justify the genocidal actions of Russia against Ukrainian children.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga participated in the opening of the Ministerial Conference on Human Dimension, focused on the implementation of the fourth point of the Peace Formula: "Release of prisoners and deported individuals." The event is taking place in Montreal, Canada, according to the press center of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha, participated in the opening of the Ministerial Conference on Human Dimension, dedicated to the implementation of the fourth point of the Peace Formula "Release of prisoners and deported persons," which is taking place in Montreal, Canada, reports the press center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Andriy Sybiha stated that it is crucial to be on the right side of history today—making efforts to implement the Peace Formula, particularly its fourth point, which focuses on the release of prisoners and deported individuals.

“Although the current international system has demonstrated its failure to achieve this goal, I am convinced that our joint efforts and commitment are bringing us closer to a comprehensive, just, and sustainable peace. Today, the world needs decisive actions. Nothing can justify the genocidal actions of Russia against Ukrainian children,” the press release quotes Sybiha.

Andriy Sybiha added that Russians not only abduct Ukrainian children but also deprive them of a normal childhood.

The Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to Canada and Norway for their leadership in promoting the Formula and emphasized that such leadership and strong decisions from partners are critically important at this time.

As reported, the ministerial conference on the human dimension of the Peace Formula will be held on October 30-31 in Montreal, Canada.

This conference aims to implement the fourth point of the Ukrainian Peace Formula "Release of all prisoners and deported persons."

According to the President's Office, the goal of the event is to create a roadmap with practical solutions for ensuring all stages of the return of prisoners and deported individuals: military captives, civilian hostages, and deported children.
