The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha, has invited the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang Yi, to visit Kyiv and emphasized to his colleague that peace in Ukraine must be long-lasting and sustainable.

"Your visit to Ukraine will undoubtedly provide an opportunity to discuss in depth the ways to achieve a just and lasting peace," Sybiha's words are quoted by the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

The minister highlighted the importance of international support and strengthening security guarantees for Ukraine in the context of ongoing aggression.

"We need a consolidated position from the international community, based on justice and international law. Peace must be long-term and sustainable, which is only possible under effective security guarantees," the minister stated.

He emphasized that Ukraine supports all initiatives that will contribute to achieving peace and is ready for further dialogue on integrating international proposals into the Peace Formula.

Sybiha also urged partners to enhance military support for Ukraine, particularly in the areas of air defense and long-range capabilities, which will serve as a guarantee against future aggression.
