The United States will provide Ukraine with new economic assistance totaling $437.7 million, announced Acting U.S. Special Representative for Economic Recovery in Ukraine and Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard Verma.
"Today, Deputy Secretary Verma announced that, in collaboration with the U.S. Congress, they will offer new support to Ukraine," the statement said.
Specifically, this includes $74.7 million for supporting Ukraine's agricultural sector, $223 million for the restoration of transportation, infrastructure, and logistics in Ukraine, $35 million for a project preparation fund to increase the number of ready-to-launch projects from dozens to hundreds, and $105 million for training Ukrainians for future jobs in reconstruction and industry.
