Stefanishina highlighted the importance of providing Ukraine with additional air defense systems during her NATO address.

The Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine and Minister of Justice, Olga Stefanishyna, discussed the current security situation in Ukraine with NATO’s Assistant Secretary General for Operations, Thomas Goffus, and Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy, Boris Ruege. The conversation focused particularly on the ongoing Russian shelling of critical infrastructure.

The Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine and Minister of Justice, Olga Stefanishyna, discussed the current security situation in Ukraine with NATO's Assistant Secretary General for Operations, Thomas Goffus, and for Political Affairs and Security Policy, Boris Ruege, particularly in the context of ongoing Russian shelling of critical infrastructure.

"We are grateful that support for Ukraine remains the top priority on NATO's agenda, and we deeply appreciate the commitment of alliance members to their decisions and fulfilling their promises. I am pleased to note that key administrative, personnel, logistical, and security issues concerning the operation of NSATU (NATO Initiative for Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine) are on track for full resolution, which will create the right conditions for practical cooperation between the initiative's staff and the Ukrainian team in Wiesbaden," Stefanishyna was quoted by the Deputy Prime Minister's press service.

[IMAGE_3] According to Stefanishyna, Ukraine expects this initiative to effectively carry out its tasks and functions, supporting and accelerating the provision of security assistance to Ukraine.

Additionally, it was reported that representatives of the NATO Secretary General's team assured their commitment to supporting Ukraine from the alliance and confirmed ongoing efforts to enhance assistance.
