Retired Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, appointed by U.S. President Donald Trump as special representative for Ukraine, has a plan to end the war in Ukraine, but Trump will personally oversee the negotiations, reports The Washington Post.
"Trump tasked Kellogg with concluding the war in Ukraine within a hundred days. Almost no one believes he can achieve this, especially the Russians. Rather, they suggest that Kellogg's role as special representative for Ukraine, which comes amidst a flurry of similar appointments, is the first step towards peace negotiations that Trump intends to personally manage," the article published on Wednesday states.
Moreover, the publication emphasizes that reaching agreements with Vladimir Putin will be far more challenging than Trump promised during his campaign, when he claimed he would end the war before taking office.
