Ukraine is prepared to sign an agreement with the United States regarding minerals if both parties are ready and the Ukrainian position is heard, stated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
"There is a final version of the agreement, it is ready. Ministers can sign it... Despite what has happened before, we are constructive. If we agreed that it will be signed on our side, we are ready to sign. Frankly, I believe the United States will be ready as well," Zelensky said during a conversation with British media on Sunday.
According to him, time is needed to "analyze some things," and it is also important for the Ukrainian position to be heard. "I just think it is important for it (the position) to be heard today, not during the negotiations where Putin will be present," the president added.
He emphasized that he is open to any format of constructive relations with the United States. "I believe we have everything we need. And it is in our hands to preserve all of this," Zelensky stressed.
