The death toll from the missile strike on a high-rise building in Poltava has risen to ten, reported the regional military administration (OVA) on Saturday evening, February 1.
"As of 10:30 PM, there are 10 confirmed deaths. Emergency and rescue operations at the site of the strike on the residential building in Poltava are ongoing," the OVA stated in their Telegram channel.
It was reported that the strike resulted in the destruction of the entrance to the multi-story residential building from the 1st to the 5th floor, leading to a fire. Initially, nine people were reported dead, including a child, and 17 were injured, three of whom are children. Nearby houses and 12 vehicles were also damaged.
