On Sunday, Russian forces shelled the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in injuries to four individuals in Marhanets, along with a fire and damage to infrastructure, particularly residential areas, reported the chairman of the OVA, Serhii Lysak.
"Marhanets suffered the most from enemy terror. Since the evening, the aggressor has repeatedly targeted the city with artillery. Four people were injured: a 64-year-old woman and men aged 22, 26, and 54. One of the injured individuals has been hospitalized in moderate condition," he wrote in a Telegram message.
Additionally, a fire broke out, which firefighters managed to extinguish.
According to him, educational institutions, administrative buildings, industrial and communal enterprises, eight shops, a café, and a legal center were also damaged.
Furthermore, eight apartment buildings and four private homes were affected. An outbuilding, garage, and vehicle were destroyed. Power lines were also impacted.
The occupiers also shelled villages in the Marhanets and Myrova communities, but there were no casualties reported there.
During the night, units of the East Operational Command destroyed two UAVs over the region.
