The Ministry of Health explained how to purchase domestic medicine using funds from the "Winter eSupport" initiative.

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, the 1000 UAH provided by the "Winter e-Support" program can be used to purchase domestically produced medications.

The program "Winter eSupport" allows for the use of 1000 UAH to purchase domestically produced medicines, as reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

"Under the 'Winter eSupport' program, Ukrainians receive a one-time state assistance of 1000 UAH, which can be spent on domestically produced medicines," the statement says.

It is noted that for prescription medications, a prescription must be provided, which can be obtained during an in-person appointment or remotely from a family doctor.

Prescriptions are issued not by trade name but by the active ingredient name. Knowing this information, the pharmacist will be able to suggest medications from the approved list. Additionally, program participants can be verified via the "Diia" barcode in the "National Cashback" section.

The Ministry of Health reminded that to receive the one-time payment, an application must be submitted through "Diia" or a partner bank and a payment card must be opened.

Another way to receive the payment is through Ukrposhta. This option is suitable for those who already receive pensions and other social payments through the postal service. No applications need to be submitted. Recipients will be informed about the allocation of 1000 UAH during the scheduled payment of their pension or social assistance.

"Winter eSupport" is a program initiated by the President of Ukraine. It aims to provide social support to citizens during the challenging winter period. The one-time state aid of 1000 UAH will be granted to all citizens located in the controlled territory of Ukraine, including children," the statement adds.
