Russian forces shelled Nikopol twice with artillery on the night of Thursday, causing damage, reported the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.
"Last night, the aggressor shelled Nikopol twice with heavy artillery," he wrote on Telegram.
According to Lysak, as a result of the enemy shelling, 2 shops, 3 apartment buildings, an unused facility, and power lines were damaged.
Meanwhile, there are no fatalities or injuries reported.
He also noted that on Wednesday evening and into Thursday night, air defense forces in Dnipropetrovsk shot down four enemy drones.
