Japan will provide Ukraine with over $3 billion as part of the G7 financial support, announced Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"These funds are part of a package totaling $50 billion, which will be compensated using frozen Russian assets. Earlier, the EU, the USA, and the UK announced their support for this initiative," - wrote Shmyhal on his Telegram channel.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Japanese government for their solidarity.
"We urge all our partners to direct frozen assets in favor of Ukraine. We must make the aggressor pay," - he added.
