The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, received a report from the Minister of Energy, Herman Halushchenko, regarding the operation of the Ukrainian energy system.
"Today, we had a report from the Minister of Energy about our energy system - its restoration and development. I am grateful to everyone in the energy sector who is doing everything possible for Ukraine to thrive," - said Zelensky in his evening address on Wednesday.
He also emphasized the importance of Ukraine maintaining a constructive stance in its collaboration with the European Union and neighboring EU countries - "we can assist partners who truly need it, and we are thankful to all who support us, who support Ukraine."
"Europeans need to feel that a common energy market, shared systems, and projects provide real benefits to them. This is only possible through unity," - the president noted.
