Зеленский отметил, что готов рассмотреть отставку, если это приведет к членству Украины в НАТО.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that he would consider resigning in exchange for Ukraine's membership in NATO. This statement was made during a conversation with British journalists following the summit in London on Sunday.

"As for stepping down from my position, if I were to be replaced... it wouldn't be easy. It's not enough to just hold elections. I also need to be prevented from running. So it's a bit more complicated. It means that we would need to negotiate with me. And I said that I would trade my position for NATO... If there is NATO and the war is over, then I have fulfilled my mission," - said Zelensky.

The Ukrainian president was also asked about his thoughts on calls for him to resign, which arose after interrupted negotiations at the White House by House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senator Lindsey Graham.

"Lindsey Graham is a very good guy, very right. And to discuss who should be president, whether I should step down, I can offer him Ukrainian citizenship. Then he would become a citizen of our country. And then, let's say, his voice would start to carry weight. And as a citizen of Ukraine, I would listen to him regarding who should be president," - Zelensky responded.
